When we launched Green Steps ahead of Earth Day 2026, we planted the first 100 trees through Tree-Nation’s National Forest Recovery project — restoring forests across the United States where wildfires and environmental damage have left land that can’t recover on its own. That was our starting point. But from the beginning, we wanted this to be more than a company initiative.
So we opened it up. Every 3 workouts completed in Lasta, we plant a tree on your behalf.
What you’ve helped build
In just over a month, our community has crossed a milestone we’re genuinely proud of: over 1,000 trees planted through the National Forest Recovery project. Together, that means:
- 1,097 trees planted in U.S. national forests
- 1.1 hectares of forest restored
- 13.34 tonnes of CO₂ captured

These aren’t projections. This is the verified, trackable impact logged through Tree-Nation — each tree with a GPS location, a species, and a certificate.
Why this matters
The National Forest Recovery project targets regions where reforestation isn’t optional — it’s necessary. Nearly 4 million acres of U.S. national forests need active restoration, with wildfires accounting for around 80% of that damage. In some areas, tree mortality has reached 60–80%. Recovery doesn’t happen passively.
Every tree planted here contributes to stabilizing damaged land, rebuilding biodiversity, and restoring ecosystems that serve millions of people — storing carbon, protecting water quality, and supporting wildlife.
