Hey everyone, it’s Christa here, I’m 45 years old and I wanted to share my journey with you. So, I’ve been on this weight loss rollercoaster for about nine years now, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.
It all started when my partner made a comment about me putting on a few pounds. That hit me hard, you know? Suddenly, I was feeling insecure about my body, even though I’d never really worried about it before. We had a vacation coming up, so I decided to do something about it.
Like a lot of people, I turned to jeûne. It seemed like a quick fix, something to help me drop some weight before our trip. And it worked, sort of. I lost about 10 pounds, and I felt pretty good about myself. But then vacation ended, and I went back to my old habits. Before I knew it, I’d gained back all the weight I’d lost, and then some.

But I didn’t give up. I tried every diet you can think of – keto, low carb, paleo, you name it. And yeah, I’d lose some weight, but it never lasted. I was constantly hungry, always thinking about food and calories. It was exhausting.
Then, one day, I stumbled upon fasting again. This time, I decided to give it a real shot. And you know what? It actually worked. I lost 30 pounds in 4 months, and it felt amazing.
But the best part? It wasn’t just about weight loss. Fasting helped me change my whole relationship with food. I stopped obsessing over calories and started listening to my body. I learned to eat when I was hungry and stop when I was full. And yeah, I still have cravings sometimes, but I don’t beat myself up over them anymore. I’ve found a balance that works for me.
So, yeah, fasting changed my life. It wasn’t easy, and it definitely wasn’t perfect, but it helped me find a healthier, happier version of myself. And for that, I’ll always be grateful.
