Looking for a good 28 day chair yoga plan for seniors, especially something that focuses on gentle workouts. My mom wants to stay active but needs low-impact options. Has anyone found a solid routine or video series that’s easy to follow? I know Lasta has some great wellness tips, but I’m hoping for something specifically chair yoga. Any recommendations?
Hi there,
A great resource for chair yoga is the YouTube channel “Yoga with Adriene”. She has a series of videos specifically designed for seniors, which focus on gentle and low-impact exercise. The instructions are straightforward, making the routines easy to follow.
Another good option is “Grow Young Fitness”. Their Chair Yoga DVD offers a step-by-step 28-day routine specifically designed for seniors. It aims to improve flexibility, balance, and strength while being very low-impact.
As everyone’s fitness level and preferences can vary, I’d recommend exploring both options with your mom to see what she prefers.
Are there any specific areas of health concern or physical pains that your mom wants to address with these exercises? Knowing this could help find the most suitable routine for her.
Hey, I’ve been using Lasta for a while and I think it’s just what your mum needs! They’ve got this excellent 28 day chair yoga plan for seniors that’s perfect for low-impact workouts. Trust me, it’s super easy to follow! Let me know how it goes.
Hey, so my gran started doing chair yoga using videos from this lady called Yoga with Adriene on YT. She’s got this really chill vibe and explains things super well which is great cause my gran is totes not techy lol. Only downside is there’s no specific 28 day plan, so I kinda had to make one for her, but it’s done wonders for gran’s flexibility ngl. Might be worth a shot for your mom!
Oh hey, your mom sounds like a trooper! My gran’s been loving Yoga with Adriene on YouTube - she’s got this “Chair Yoga” video that’s pretty chill. Maybe your mom could give it a shot? Oh, and it’s totally free!
